Picture

The title track. The image to the left here is an earlier variant of the artwork I worked up for the CD cover. The hand is my own. In the image that made the final cut, the trails are bubble chamber traces made by particle smashing. And the background comprises deep space images of galaxies, etc. The whole idea being that love makes us big and perhaps even one with the multiverse. It came to me as I contemplated my incredible good fortune in meeting and joining forces with my dearest Vicki.

Sweet, no? I just wanted to capture the expansive and blissful feeling I get when I think about my good fortune.

Ironically she's not that into this particular track. I think the lyrics have a little too much Talking Heads influence for her. Oh well. I still love her big as any universe.

Back To The Songs

Big As Any Universe

I got a love that's so damn big
Big as any universe
And I got a heart that's open wide
Growing in the richest earth

Take my hand and you're everything
And you what the stars are worth
You're gonna bring it all home to me
Big as any universe

So wrap around me like a big old sun
Dance in the circle of death and birth
Cause you are the stars and you are the one
Big as any universe

I got a feeling you may know
Flying over the big blue
We're changing colors and bending time
With hearts that open oh so wide

Take my hand I'm everything
And I know what the stars are worth
I'm going to bring it on home to you
Big as any universe
